Power to the Point
Back to DesignProject Description
Diagrams are some of the most ancient and immediate ways to communicate abstract concepts and complex information. This animation breaks down how, exactly, visual diagrams "externalize thought." Viewers are walked through the various components of a typical diagram — dots, lines, frames, circles — with an explanation of their essential roles. The animation then demonstrates the logic behind how these parts come together and create a visual or conceptual space on a flat surface. — MoMA
